
As the culmination of THE DARK KNIGHT’s successful viral ad campaign, 300 fans were chosen to screen a new cut of the trailer. One fan at each gathering was chosen to bring home their own copy of the trailer on a 35mm film print. Upon viewing the gifted prints, the lucky fans realized that this was not the trailer they had screened, it was a new version edited (or defaced) by the film’s green-haired villain. The Jokerfied versions have already been posted on YouTube, so enjoy.
Update: The defaced trailer cuts are getting pulled from YouTube, so the video may go down… but I’ll try to keep an updated one here.
