Howdy, boys and girls! This page is to just sort of give you a feel of where I’m coming from both as a blogger and as a person who likes lovely things. I started SOLSTICEDigital back in the summer of 2007 as I was just wrapping up what I call Round One of my time living in SFO. Soon thereafter I relocated to North-Eastern Vermont, where I found plenty of wonderful things, but longed for my Western life. This blog sort of became a way for me to share things I’d discovered in the East with friends in the West, while also spew random cool stuff onto the Interwebz. Sort of like my curated view of the net.

I moved back to SFO briefly from 2008-2009, which is when this blog became somewhat defunct. I had a life again and I no longer felt the need to live in a vicarious digital world. It’s been three years and quite a bit has changed. I’ve eased myself back into blogging with my Tumblr site ofTime&Travel and now feel that it’s time to get serious and stop “re-blogging” as much and start creating my own excitement.
