Available at retail selected T-Mobile stores on October 22nd for $179 in the US with a 2-year term agreement, existing customers of T-Mobile will be able to pre-order today from a micro-site set to go live shortly. The device is designed for T-Mobile’s 3G network and is only available in-store at the stores physically in those network areas, online ordering in-store will be available for those still in the 2G network areas.

All of Google’s online services have been integrated; Search, GMail, Google Maps (with standard, satellite, and street-view modes including the added feature of a compass rotation mode which utilizes the phone’s built-in accelerometers), YouTube, Calendar, and Google Talk are all feature-rich and built in. Amazon’s DRM-free music store is also built-in and completely mobile, which may help the G1 become the first legitimate iPhone-killer.
The G1 will be available with T-Mobile in most of Europe in early November, with full market-availability at the start of 2009.
